12/07/2010 - IntelePeer and WorkSpace Communications partner and launch a hosted UC solution for MSCS
More from the Microsoft Partners Conference: IntelePeer and WorkSpace Communications have teamed to offer unified communications (UC) solutions for the Microsoft Communications Server "14" platform.
IntelePeer, a provider of cloud-based communications, and Workspace Communications are combining IntelePeer's Quick Start SIP Trunking program, Voice Peering Network, and SuperRegistry with WorkSpace Communications' patent-pending Microsoft OCS environment. The environment interoperates with any previously installed Microsoft Exchange implementation and combined with the IntelePeer offerings provides a complete, turnkey solution. The combined solutions enable service providers to offer hosted UC, SIP trunking and on-demand communications services that can be deployed almost instantly.
"The IntelePeer Quick Start program is optimized for Microsoft OCS," said Margaret Norton, general manager, enterprise for IntelePeer in a release. "We can turn around a hosted, Microsoft-certified SIP trunk as rapidly as five days, giving our partners and customers the agility they need for today's dynamic market."
