SIP trunking provider IntelePeer has recently announced partnerships with telecom service provider Chinook Communications and contact center provider LiveOps for its cloud-based products.
On Monday, IntelePeer said Chinook is integrating IntelePeer's CoreCloud SIP trunking product with Chinook's Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) Lync unified communications deployment. Chinook is the first telecom provider to offer Microsoft-supported Lync Server 2010 Multitenant Pack for Partner Hosting, according to IntelePeer.
"As a Microsoft Lync service provider, Chinook Communications provides small businesses the same level of communications sophistication associated with large corporations--but at a cost an entrepreneur can afford. The combination of our cloud-based SIP trunking connections with hosted Microsoft Lync helps small businesses use their communications system as a revenue-generating asset, instead of a cost center," said Margaret Norton, general manager for enterprises at Intelepeer
Last week, IntelePeer said LiveOps will provide Intelepeer's cloud-based Fluent federation-as-a-service (FaaS) product to its customers. Through IntelePeer, LiveOps can offer enterprises the ability to have a more flexible and scalable cloud-based contact center, IntelePeer explained.
The Fluent FaaS uses the firm's CloudWorx platform to deliver carrier-quality services over public or private IP connections using the cloud. CloudWorx also uses Intelepeer's directory of more than 450 million phone numbers.
In addition, IntelePeer said VoIP provider BroadSoft (Nasdaq: BSFT) has selected the VoIP provider to provide UC services to BroadSoft's customer base.
These recent announcements demonstrate that Intelepeer is on the move in the enterprise communications space. It has seen revenues increase 427 percent from 2004 to 2011. Reflecting this rapid growth, Deloitte ranked Intelepeer as one of the 500 fastest growth technology companies in North America.
