Looks like Yahoo is getting into the mobile video chat game as well. They are leveraging their Yahoo Messenger service with its 81 million users to launch a competitor to FaceTime, Skype, Fring and others with a mobile VoIP calling feature.
The new Messenger app supports high quality video calls between mobile users and PCs. The free app has launched for the iPhone, but I am hearing that an Android version has been seen in the wild and sure to follow. The app works for mobile to mobile and mobile to PC in addition to WiFi and carrier networks--meaning 3G video calls.
