New phones and news are coming out of the Metaswitch Forum 2010 down in Orlando. Grandstream Networks, a manufacturer of IP voice and video telephony solutions has announce a new offering to build on its enterprise portfolio.
The new GXP2110--based on Grandstream's GXP SIP stack--is a SIP based phone with HD audio, IP telephony features and integrated web applications. The device supports security protection and XML customization as well. The GXP2110 SIP phone includes an HD handset and a full duplex speakerphone and works with a broad range of voice codecs. It sports a 240x120 backlit graphical LCD with 8-level grayscale, multiple languages, a large phone book and call log (2,000 records), and automated provisioning using TR-069. Integrated web apps include real-time weather, stocks, currency exchanges and RSS feeds of news.
The GXP2110 is available through Grandstream's distribution channels at a MSRP of $139.
